Add Food to a Meal: Search and Press Enter

Add an Existing Food

  1. Navigate to the correct date.

  2. Locate the meal (e.g., Lunch).

  3. Click inside the search box.

  4. Start typing the food name.

  5. Select a matching result.

  6. Press Enter.

The food will immediately appear under that meal.


Create a New Food

If the food does not exist:

  1. Type the full name in the search box.

  2. Press Enter.

KidKeeper will:

  • Create a new Food Library item.

  • Add it to that meal for the selected date.


Tips

  • Use consistent naming (e.g., “Apple” vs “Apples”) to keep your library clean.

  • New foods are automatically saved to your Food Library for future use.
