Understanding Event Categories
Overview
Categories label and color-code your events.
They help you visually identify event types and filter the calendar.
Default Categories
KidKeeper includes these categories:
Closed
Holiday
No School
Inspection
Field Trip
Reminder
Other
You may customize category names and archive categories you don’t use.
Editing Categories
Open the Calendar.
Click the More menu.
Select Manage Categories.
Choose a category to edit.
Update the name or color.
Click Save.
Archiving a Category
Archiving removes the category from new event selection but keeps existing events intact.
Archived categories can be restored at any time.

Editing or Deleting an Event
